
Nicole has been a resident of Franklin county for 25 years. She has two children who have attended Franklin County schools, one who has graduated and one who is currently in school. Nicole has been a member of the District Parent Advisory Counsel (DPAC) for five years, giving input on important topics that affect Franklin County students and families. Over the years, she has volunteered in different capacities for Franklin County schools.
Nicole has been employed in Federal Law Enforcement for the last 24 years and currently serves as a Correctional Treatment Specialist at the Federal Correctional Complex in Bunter, North Carolina. She specializes in analyzing and evaluating individual program development, rehabilitation planning, counseling and plays an intricate role for the success of each individual serving time. She has experience working with culturally diverse communities.
Nicole understands the importance of safe and secure schools. She is a volunteer advocate for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in North Carolina, understanding the importance of good mental health. Nicole believes that academic success is possible for all students from all backgrounds. She values those who work in the classrooms and their experiences.

As your School Board representative, I will advocate for teacher support at the classroom level; protecting instructional time, ensuring access to resources and listening to the professionals who know our students best. When we support our teachers, we strengthen outcomes for every child.
Our children are the future of our community. I will work to ensure our schools are safe, supportive and academically strong, built on responsible decision making and a commitment to student success.
